At Shields, we believe in being upfront and transparent. Below you’ll find our warranty details, payment terms, and service policies. These help ensure your expectations are clear, and there are no surprises along the way. Please take a moment to review them before booking your service.
We stand behind every installation — all windshield replacements are backed by a life-time warranty against leaks and installation defects. Our guarantee covers the quality of our work, not damage caused after installation.
We are not responsible for delays or claim denials from your insurance provider. Please confirm your coverage and deductible before scheduling service to avoid surprises.
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Missed appointments may result in a fee prior to scheduling the next appointment.
Full payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements are made. We accept all major cards, approved third-party billing, and insurance claims.
All payments are final once processed — please review your invoice carefully before paying. Overpayments must be reported within 3 business days to be eligible for a refund.
A travel fee may apply for service outside our standard service radius. Call us to confirm pricing for your location.
Severe weather or material shortages may affect your scheduled appointment. Mobile service may be delayed or rescheduled for rain, snow, high winds, or extreme temperatures. We’ll notify you as soon as possible and work quickly to reschedule.
Rock chips and cracks are caused by debris hitting the glass and are not covered under warranty. We offer repairs to help prevent spreading, but the damage will remain visible.
Sudden temperature changes (hot/cold) can cause stress cracks. This is a natural occurrence and is not related to installation.
Minor optical distortions or manufacturer imperfections in new glass can occur and are considered normal within industry standards.
We add this section with love — and a little bit of disbelief — to keep expectations clear and everyone smiling.
Don’t let a small chip turn into a costly replacement.
